By default all newly created hosting accounts have web statistics turned off to conserve disk space. Many customers do not use or require their statistics and find that after several months the web statistics directory can consume vast amounts of disk space.
If, however, you would like your statistics turned on you can easily do this in a few simple steps.
Login to cPanel
Click the ' Choose Log Programs' icon - located under the logs sub-heading
Then tick the checkbox under either Awstats or Webalizer (or both).
Wait 24 hours and your statistics will start to populate automatically each night.
Any visits received to your sites before these are switched on may not be represented on your web statistics.
